I'm 18 and I love strategy games like Chess, but I fail at simple games like Checkers...XD

I forget the actual name of the site, but it's similar to Gaiaonline. Only...newer and with less noobs... I never actually did anything on it... I just stalked the forums and found your thread xD! Yey for random sites.

How the heck do I even find those sites? I have no clue.

But yeah. There are a lot of "Gaia clones" as you put it. It's annoying. And what's more annoying is that Gaia is now a noob-center. When I first joined, four to five years ago now... totally the best place ever. I met a lot of cool people and stuff, and there were hardly ANY newbies. Now you can't go any where without "omg i lyk ttly hav ah nw crsh on sum1!!!!!!!!11!1!!111"

I know! I was on there about six years ago when it was actually awesome, and now it's totally lame (like neopets, ha!) and there are so many other sites trying to be JUST LIKE IT. WHEN IT SUCKS. People are stupid.

It's either that or the fake Japanese gibberish. *shudder*

And I'm done with mine. We can move onto pleasanter topics. lol.

Ahhh, the dreaded NaNoWriMo. I tried that once- failed horribly. I'm a slight perfectionist when it comes to my writing xD I can't just...write. I freak out and edit my sentences twelve bazillion times until I think its perfect for the next sentence. OTL it's a bit of a curse.

I'm definitely going to watch your novel though! And pressure you into finishing it >D

I am so not a perfectionist. I have terrible spelling to begin with, and when it comes to writing, I care more about how a sentence flows than whether it makes sense. Two of my friends are standing in the wings to be my editors once this is over.

But how many words did you get?

By the time I went to bed I had 2,354-ish.

Oh, I have no clue. I did it a loooong time ago. I was going for about a week before giving up. I had only two or three pages xDD. It was a pretty desperate failure.

If I had time now, I'd try to do it again, but I know for a fact that even if I .COULD. get something done, school and work and real life would get in the way. =/

Maybe I'll attempt next year.

I will also gladly edit it for you though? 8D Well, maybe not hard-core edit, but I'm a wonderful critic (or so I'm told. I might actually suck). I wouldn't mind critiquing it a bit. You can never have too many editors o3o
